The Blacksmith Challenge
In the blacksmith challenge, players will compete to make the requests items and scored on how close they come to the final product. Don't worry if you are bad at blacksmithing since I'll request a variety of items.
I may, for example, request that players make the worst possible shovel. Or I might ask for a spring of exactly 4000 quality. Or the best possible hatchet.
I'll supply the anvils, the blacksmithing tools, and the metals needed to make the products. You just need to show up and work the anvils.
The top prizes are:
- A collapsed airship
- A portable cornerstone
- A full set of huge gems (1 huge quartz, 1 huge topaz, 1 huge ruby, 1 huge sapphire, 1 huge emerald, 2 huge diamonds)
- 60 pieces of Serpentine Marble
Participation prizes are
- 5 silk cloth
- ?
- ?
The player with the highest score will get to pick which of the four top prizes he or she wants. The next highest score then can pick from the remaining three prizes, and so forth.
There will also be multiple masterpiece meals to eat, herbs to smoke, and wine and beer to taste. So even if you don't plan on entering, come on down.
