Greetings Egypt,
The Gods of the Earth and Sea presented to me a glorious gift recently as a Huge Ruby bubbled up from the lakes of Shabbat Ab through my Water Mine. I have decided to leverage my fortune towards the advancement of all of Egypt by holding a nationwide raffle to contribute towards the opening of Gem Cutting. One lucky citizen of Egypt will be awarded this wondrous prize!
Contest Rules
- Shares in this raffle are purchased with cuttable gems, at a rate of one share per cuttable gem.
- I will only accept the quantity of gems required to unlock the Gem Cutting technology in Saqqarah.
- You must deliver your cuttable gems to me at the Shabbat Ab chariot stop - /chat me to let me know that you are coming and the quantities of gems you are bringing. I am online mostly between 8pm and 11pm CDT (USA).
- If you'd like to participate but cannot meet me during this time, /chat me and we can work something out.
- The contest ends when the Gem Cutting technology is put on timer. I will donate gems to the Saqqarah University of Thought each night.
- Odds of winning this contest are based upon the number of gems you donate and the number of cuttable gems required to finish the research (currently about 1000).
- Void where prohibited.
I will track the number of shares per-person on this wiki page. Keep in mind that I will actually be storing the data locally, this will simply be a transparent view of the current status.
I will be seeking the assistance of Teppy and/or a GM in order to perform the actual lottery draw using their in-game mechanism. If this is not possible then I will seek out another fair and transparent means for conducting the draw.
