Yield and harvests info is based off my own testing. I've tried to keep conditions similar but due to lag, slow reflexes, and other general randomness results may vary.

Current Theories

  • Output yield bonus: More GR gene sets = larger yield when harvesting.
    • Seems to be a 1:1 linear growth. Vodun (10xGR) produces on average 10 times more wheat then Santeria (1xGR).
    • To grow on dirt, at least 1 is required. Not sure if this affects yeild on all terrain types.
  • Dirt: GR, RY, and YO
    • GRYO is the shortest gene set to meet this requirement
  • Sand: ***In Progress***
    • Must be at least ORRGY as Tunnen#50 shows. Has ORRG still but lost the O from the ORRGY(U) portion and is not able to grow on sand. (*Needs to be revisted*)
    • Still haven't fully determined the Sand gene set, though further testing shows it's not isolated to one gene set. (See Tunnen#131-Tunnen#138)
      • Replacing gene 1,2,3,4 or 14 (Palo) prevented growth on sand. (Haven't tested to see if it was due to breaking a set, or introducing a new set)
      • Since modification of gene 5 and 6 (Palo) did not affect growth on sand, ORRG seems to be required. Need to look at or retest my note on Tunnen#50 as these results conflict.
      • Gene 14 was an interesting find, since I was not expecting that mutation to affect sand growth, this may lead to the "Eureka!" moment that similarly affected my success with the dirt and yield gene sets.
      • Further testing to determine if the surronding genes 13/15 also affect sand growth, or if replacing 14 with a gene other than O or Y will also affect it
  • Grass: Limited research - OYOY?
    • Changing gene 4 or 6 prevented growth on grass (Tunnen#68/74)
    • Much more testing required
  • Clay: Unfortantly I was taking a break from wheat research during the only season (Shemu) that had Abacau
