I have finally come up with my next solo project.  To build a Funerary Temple.  I will probably never pass the test, but it would be nice to pass the principal.  I have never built one of these thingys before so this should be interesting.  Tonight I am starting my silt gathering for the 5,000 firebricks I will need.  I looked down the list and think a few purchases at the Goods will be in order for gold and/or silver.  Today is day one working on the gathering of stuff to make stuff to put in the the thingy to pass the principal.

June 17, 2009 Date Tree Rant I know, I know, date trees are for everyone, and it's fine for everyone to pick at all the date trees, BUT.... it would be a nice gesture of community to saltpeter the date tree after you have picked the dates. Why do I bring this up? Ok, now for the unsolicited rant... MY, yes, MY, date tree that is not 10 feet from my compound (yes i measured it) was picked clean today and the culprit did not saltpeter it afterwards. Yes Teppy, it's MY tree, and I happily share it with all of Egypt to pick dates from it, but it would be nice to saltpeter it afterwards for the next person to have dates. Why is it my tree? I named it. Yes my date tree has a name, it's my No Date With Sami Tree. Tonight, there I was chatting away with my YAYA sister Korrin who was telling me about the YAYA Star firework she made, side note: (YAYA YAYA YAYA YAYA) when all of a sudden I noticed my No Date With Sami Tree was picked clean. It was a horrible experience. No Date With Sami is very sad now that it has no dates on it.

June 15, 2009 To get a mule or not get a mule. My human will be off for the summer in 2 weeks and a mule would be very nice to help out for the 2 months. Something to contemplate.

June 14, 2009 Rain in NYC, Sun in Egypt. Hip Hip Hoorah! A huge shout out to MariahBoPeep and her favorite driver Jimmie Johnson, Jimmie ran out of gas on the last lap after leading the race for 146 laps at Michigan, Jeff and Mark Martin passed him, Mark won and Jeff came in second. Way to go Jimmie. huggers to MariahBoPeep for being a great sport.

Jeff will start in 27th place at Michigan on Sunday. I built my little thingy for the event and it looks lovely next to a group of trees I have near my cp.

June 9-12, 2009 Real Life Rant... I enjoyed being a part of the Vigil with Worship World this past weekend. I think it's a great thing to play around with pyrotechnics even with all the mats I have to make. I love foraging. BUT... there is Real Life. Real Life, what a strange thing to say. Is Real Life much different than Fake Life? Is being in Egypt a Fake Life? I think not. I am real in Egypt, sometimes too real. BUT... there are things that must be done in that Real Life that take me away from my Real Egypt Life and they have all decided to pounce on me this week. The first and second week of July the human is doing Real Life stuff that will be taking both of us away from Egypt for a few days. In preparation for those days, we (the human and I) find it necessary to do things in Real Life that take us away from Egypt Life every so often for the next week or two. Very distressing. Shakes head, Woe is Me.

Jeff came in 4th at Pocono and remains at 2nd in the standings. Just so no one thinks I'm slacking in the Sami proposal department, I took the opportunity while the server was down to go on IRC and say the following:

21st.jpg

June 7, 2009 Hip Hip Hooray! Roger Federer won the French Open for the first time. The Vigil was great last night and was stopped only by an unusual gem cut. A big shout out to everyone at Worship World. The Heket tournament was interesting and is still going on I think, I would like to thank TonyG for giving me some very important pointers on how to play. This afternoon the ever boring Pocono race is on. I say ever boring because I have been to it a few times and stopped going because of the boredom of such a large track. But of course, I will watch it anyway. Let's go Jeff.

June 6, 2009 Roger made it to the finals in the French Open, Jeff starts second at Pocono tomorrow, Sami still hasn't come online for me to make my 21st proposal to, and Worship World is having a Vigil all weekend of which I am proud to be a part of tonight between 4-8 if the traffic on the LIE isn't too bad (crossing fingers.)

June 5, 2009 This afternoon at 3pm begins the Vigil at Worship World in Meroe. Time to get our points for passing the test and cleaning out our stuff of stuff we made to make more stuff for things we changed our minds to build and then we have to make more stuff again for the next project which by now I have forgotten what it is. I will be hosting tomorrow Saturday between 4-8 pm, but will for sure be hanging around to learn from the wonderful expert hosts/elders tonight.

June 4, 2009 Roger Federer made it to the semi finals at the French Open. Here's to Roger, while I cross my fingers he finally wins it.

June 3, 2009 Hip Hip Hooray... I received my 4th speed point. On a sour note, I won't talk about aqueducts.

June 2, 2009 Fahrenheit 451 minus the books, add the stuff. I'm very excited. I've joined Worship World and they are doing a wonderful vigil this weekend of which I will partially be hosting Saturday between 4-8. It starts Friday night and continues all weekend. You know what a vigil is... we burn all the stuff that we work so hard to make, we burn more and make more. It is a great time to burn stuff that is keeping my warehouses and chests full. I am one little itty bitty person with 2 almost 3 warehouses and a number of chests full of stuff. You know the stuff, all that stuff we make for well, stuff we do, and the extra stuff we burn. So come one come all and cheer me on while I call out stuff for us all to burn so we can go back and make more stuff that we will never use anyway and might as well burn it also, just so we can pass the test or just pass the principal.

June 1, 2009 As I start off this month I am very happy to say hip hip hooray for June. May ended up pretty poorly with Jeff ending up 26th in the Dover race and giving up his first place standing in the rankings. My petition got the Iwantaponyveto and that is pretty bad also. Sami has NOT been around for any photo ops or proposals and I don't understand that at all. I could have sworn he smiled the last time he saw me and said my name. BUT... on a happy side, Roger Federer won his match this morning and Rafa Nadal lost yesterday. So Roger will not have to play Rafa in the finals (crosses fingers he gets there.) One last happy note to the end of May, my bathing suits didn't shrink as much as I thought they did *wink*wink, although they did shrink a little, so no more chocolates while running around Egypt.
