Choltai: I'm just doing chores before I head off to dance class but I'll be back on in about 5 or 6 hours... I'm interested in moving to the next round. Anyone else?

Khaemwaset: I'd like to give it a go aswell, but will bow out if I meet a candidate i am impressed with

Choltai: Oooo, this should be good with three of us going for it! I'm usually in groups that only have 2 interested :)

Choltai: Hi y'all, I'm Choltai. <Hi Choltai!> Uh, well, I've been working at DP for a while and I find the process very fun. It's great to meet all the different people in the game you'd otherwise may not meet. Uh, I live in QR and I <ahem> I mean my grandmother lived in Khartoum. I'm always happy to help or answer any questions you may have.

Holly: how about you Kha?

Khaemwaset: Well i am Khaemwaset, also known as Khaem, Kha, Kwa and Kanye! i live in the middle of nowhere in Sinai . My grandfatehr, also known as Khaemwaset lived in seven Lakes- now Shabbat Ab. I like to meet people. I do not have a 'platform' but would like to see how the DP process works :)

Holly: I am Holly, and live in the middle of nowhere in Shabbat Ab. I have never played before Tale 4, but love the game. I do not have a 'platform' either, but am enjoying each new experience, including the DP process :)

Holly: do you have 'platform' Choltai?

Choltai: Bah! I don't like platforms. People who have a platform will be too set in their ways and not flexible enough for negotiations.

Choltai: I don't like debating with those people either because situations are black and white to them, but I see many shades of gray.

Holly: well, what should we discuss first? Khaemwaset: i like people with a sense of humour- the worst debates I have seen are those see only their viewpoint

Choltai: Whatever you would like! How about the hardest first: Why? Why do you want to be a DP?

Choltai: I do too, Khaem.

Khaemwaset: i am goign to be semi afk-ish as i have dinner to cook in rl

Khaemwaset: Ok wht would i like to be DP... well I am not desperate to become DP. It would not change my life or anything. But this is a game i love which I continue playing when others leave or find it boring. I kind of view DP as a first among equals, especially now as it is no longer required for a test pass. i am not hungry for power- after all it is only a game.

Holly: why I would like to be DP...I think it would be an interesting new experience.

Holly: It would allow me to learn even more about the game, and other players Choltai: Holly, I'm interested in how you think being DP would allow you to learn more about the game and players rather than just being a citizen.

Choltai: What advantage to you see being DP would give you?

Khaemwaset: none

Holly: lol Choltai: I was under the impression Holly saw one.

Holly: just a sec

Holly: ok, anyways, this is a perfect example. I have met you 2, and knew next to nothing about DP until today

Holly: met new people and learned more about game

Holly: I assume that would continue if I were to progress in rounds

Choltai: Yes, but you did that without DP :) Did I misunderstand that you thought being DP would help with learning about the game and meeting other players?

Holly: if other people did have 'platforms' I would learn...and in fact have not yet met someone set in their ways, have no idea what they would see as black and white, and am interested to find out

Holly: if I understand correctly, the DP helps to contribute in some way to the game

Choltai: They can.

Holly: that would not be based on my own great mind...lol, but I'm sure on concerns other citizens have

Holly: does that make sense?

Holly: meeting them and learning what they have in mind

Khaemwaset: how about u Choltai?

Choltai thinks a bit.

Khaemwaset: lol

Choltai: I want to be a person people can trust. I mean, I do what I can as a player within my guilds to keep my word and promises I give, and help as much as I can. ...

Choltai: But that's still just a small group, especially as we have Egyptians drifting away from the game.

Choltai: I get this sense of fulfillment when I get to interact with people, an intense satisfaction.

Choltai: I think that being DP would add to that feeling of being useful. Also, that title opens paths that you normally wouldn't find. Someone needs help and doesn't feel comfortable going to friends or strangers can look up a demi-pharaoh to contact.

Choltai: Having these rounds and then the country wide vote really helps to promote the helpful and trustworthy to the top.

Choltai: So I guess I want to be DP because I'm kind of selfish... I want that feeling of satisfaction, the knowledge my peers trust and believe in me to do right.

Khaemwaset: Ok i am gonna log now guys- btw I am a gb player
