This Guild

Welcome to this guild page. This guild is a cooperative initiative by some members of local Meroe guilds is dedicated to organizing the Path of the Pilgrim.

Guild membership

Membership of this guild is open to those invited to join our pilgrimage. Please contact Nkuku, Niut or Taffer if you want to be invited. All members are Elders. The guild can hold 7 members.

Current members of the Pilgrimage guild are:

Name Home Region Carry Remarks
Nkuku Meroe 2000 planning, lead pilgrim
Niut Meroe 1500 planning
Taffer Meroe 500
Tula Meroe 500
Hulk QR 500
Alexa QR 500
Rosebud QR 500
Supox Meroe 500 alt of Taffer/Tula, reserve

Guild location

Our guild hall is located near the CS in Meroe. Walk north a bit and take the first road to the west. It's the first guild hall on your left hand side.

Before we start our pilgrimage, you will have to join this guild, so we'll have a separate chat channel to coordinate our pilgrimage.

Test of the Pilgrim

The test includes visiting as many (if not all) of the pilgrim shrines that exist in Egypt, with 7 people total. The idea is to donate/tithe whatever the pilgrim shrine requests (which is known on forehand).

Please note that you will first have to go to a University of Leadership (ULead) to accept the test.

Previous passes

  • 2009-02-09, 36 shrines, 6380 points
  • 2009-02-16, 55 shrines, 10018 points
  • 2009-02-22, 53 shrines, 9280 points

From this, we've concluded that not all shrines are listed on the wiki. This means that we'll either have to tithe more at listed shrines, or find ones that are not listed. Either way, it will take at least 5 tithes at the easy ones, and at least 1 to 3 at the harder ones.

Pilgrim shrines and tithes

  • Please see the Map of Pilgrim Shrines for locations and click on the pins for listed tithes. At the time of writing, there are well over 50 shrines (Sunday Feb 17th).
  • Putting up shrines of our own doesn't work, because our own shrines cannot be tithed for this pilgrimage. However, if you would create shrines with an alt account, that would work. If you have any shrines up of your own that we don't know of yet, please tell Nkuku or Niut, so we can skip them.
  • If you see any shrine out there (in-game) that is not listed on the map (see link above), please tell us or add them to the wiki yourself. Niut and Nkuku will keep a close eye on the list of shrines to look out for new ones on a daily basis.

Materials for tithes

Please see the list of required mats here.

Our Pilgrimage

We will post the complete route here on forehand, after discussing which tithes we want to do and which prepping has to be done on forehand.

Preparations should include:

  1. deciding on which shrines to visit (planning done by Niut & Nkuku)
  2. deciding on how many tithes we want to do on which shrines (planning done by Niut & Nkuku)
  3. getting a list of requirements and getting all the agreed tithes together (see this LIST)
  4. lay out an effective route, with reloading stops if needed (planning done by Niut & Nkuku)
  5. decide who is going to lead the Pilgrimage (currently planned for Nkuku to be lead pilgrim)
  6. gather all the mats for the tithes
  7. set times and dates to do our run(s)
