Silver discovered! Casting on timer through Egypt -- hundreds rejoice
Silver and gold are found. The silver is in Meroe, in the neighborhood of 1000, -4700.
Otters!
An otter is now available as a pet. These are sold as a fund-raiser for world-builder Otter, and may be purchased from the Billing menu.

- January 31, 2009 Noon EST -- Mentor Chat hosted by Teppy : Mentorship is a part of ATITD's tradition of encouraging those pursuing the Discipline of Leadership to guide new players through the first stages of the game. I'll be hosting an in-game chat with some of the top Mentors from previous Tales. They will share their mentoring philosophies with all of Egypt, in order to help those with an interest in this most unique aspect of ATITD. I'd encourage even those new to the game to join us for the chat - mentors often have observations about the game that are quite insightful.

- (Unknown Date / Time ???) Research Dig in Sinai. All Medium Stones will go toward research. Cuttables will be divided amongst participants. The dig will be held at the Dems Digs near Chariot Stop (3249, 4331). Come and help with research and walk home with a pocket full of cuttables.
