Leasing Law
 +
 +
This law enables players without access to special items, to lease these from other players.
 +
 +
Items covered by this law are: Mining Picks, Silver Sickles, Fishing Poles, Hatchets, and any other existing or future item, that either increases yield in one form or another, or grants the carryer certain abilities.
 +
 +
The law enables the owners of these items to lease the items to other players, for a specified amount of time.
 +
 +
At the end of the leasing time, the item is returned automatically to a storage belonging to the owner.
 +
 +
The item will return to the owner at the agreed time, no matter if the leaser or the owner is online.
 +
 +
The owner is informed of the return and the yield at time of return, or at next logon.
 +
 +
Payment for leasing can either be free, a predetermined amount of resources, or a percentage of the yield the leasing player generates with the leased item.
 +
 +
If payment is a percentage, the item contains the payment, until the item is returned to its owner.
 +
 +
If the leased item doesn't directly generate a yield, payment cannot be in percentage. Examples: Fishing Poles generate direct yields. Resin Wedges an indirect yield. Shovels both, and you'll only get yield on the dirt.
 +
 +
A lease should be created at a Trading Post, with owner and leaser present.
 +
 +
The leaser has to keep the item on him/her during the entire leasing period.
 +
 +
The leaser cannot lease the item to other players, stash, give, use the item in buildings, or in any way consume the item.

Leasing Law

Leasing Law

This law enables players without access to special items, to lease these from other players.

Items covered by this law are: Mining Picks, Silver Sickles, Fishing Poles, Hatchets, and any other existing or future item, that either increases yield in one form or another, or grants the carryer certain abilities.

The law enables the owners of these items to lease the items to other players, for a specified amount of time.

At the end of the leasing time, the item is returned automatically to a storage belonging to the owner.

The item will return to the owner at the agreed time, no matter if the leaser or the owner is online.

The owner is informed of the return and the yield at time of return, or at next logon.

Payment for leasing can either be free, a predetermined amount of resources, or a percentage of the yield the leasing player generates with the leased item.

If payment is a percentage, the item contains the payment, until the item is returned to its owner.

If the leased item doesn't directly generate a yield, payment cannot be in percentage. Examples: Fishing Poles generate direct yields. Resin Wedges an indirect yield. Shovels both, and you'll only get yield on the dirt.

A lease should be created at a Trading Post, with owner and leaser present.

The leaser has to keep the item on him/her during the entire leasing period.

The leaser cannot lease the item to other players, stash, give, use the item in buildings, or in any way consume the item.
