Obtained by raking rotten flax on a Flax Comb or a Hackling Rake or Flax Gin. Tow is the second byproduct of rotten flax.

Uses

Used for compound expansion.
Spun in a Small Distaff or Large Distaff, produces 3 Twine per 1 tow.
