Event Schedule

Saturday, February 6, Dig Contest, 1:30PM EST (6:30PM GMT), site to be determined.

  • This will be a 20 minute dig designed to win people the eggplant seeds being offered in the contest.
  • This dig will not yield many cuttable or medium stones. If you only want cuttable stones, I'll host other digs at other times.
  • We'll try to get every player to both start a hole and dig at all holes -- thus qualifying them for 2 eggplant seeds. Depending on the turnout, we may not be able to start holes for late arrivals.
  • The contest does not start until 2:00PM EST (7PM EST) but the dig will have a complex format. So *PLEASE* show up 30 minutes early and listen to the instructions. If you arrive late and miss the instructions, you may not wind up with any seeds or cuttables.

Saturday, February 6, Festival of Osiris, the goth god, 3PM EST (8PM GMT), Altars all over Egpyt.

  • The Test of Festivals is available to anyone level 14+. Sign up at any UWorship
  • Once you are signed up for test, find a friend (or stranger), grab 2 flax and 2 barley (raw), and head to any common altar. You'll get the flax and barley back when you are done.
  • Stand behind the statue and face forward so that your right side is also the statues right side.
  • Place flax on the left side pillar (the outer column). Have your friend place flax on the right side pillar.
  • Place barley (raw) on the left focus (the plate in statue's hand). Have your friend place a barley (raw) on the right focus.
  • Meditate on the altar, then have your friend meditate on altar.
  • A window will popup telling you the specific type of beer that you'll need for the festival as well as what type of stat food you'll need. Write these down.
  • Take the rabbits back from the altar. They are now safe until you feed them to falcons or snakes.
  • Prior to the festival, find suppliers for the beer noted in the popup. Or check the recipes page and try to make it yourself. Also, you'll need some oil. Use a kitchen to make ambrosia from the beer and oil. This process takes 10 minutes.
  • On festival day, head to an altar and dress all in black. Use the appearance menu to change all your clothing to black clothing. Your sac will not work unless you are wearing black.
  • The altar will need to be setup with a field of growing vegetables noted in the popup. Bring these seeds with you to the altar as well as plenty of jugs in water. Setting up the altar is tricky enough that you should ask around and head to an altar being used by many people. This will make it easier to do the sac properly.
  • Wait until the signal is given on E! or WWM and sacrifice your ambrosia.
