Rami

Greetings to all of Egypt!

This is my first telling of the Tale and I look forward to the story.

Level 18 Student of Architecture.

Elder of Per Mer.
Elder of The Vault.
Kinsman of Borealis.
Member of Kha'ys Vintners.
Associate of Dead Pharoahs Society.
Initiate of Hot Desert Nights.
Initiate of Mixed Nuts.

My name, Rami, means 'fish', chosen because I'm a Pisces. I reside in the extreme south of Queen's Retreat, an area that was known in ancient times as Khartoum. There with my spouse shemeit (whom I live with IRL) and my guild-mates of The Vault we seek to conquer the Tests and advance our understanding of our world.

My current passions include crafting wines and beers, gem cutting, and scarab breeding. I'm attempting to learn about fireworks. As a consequence of these interests, I have acquired additional skills that may be of some use to my fellow Egyptians such as blacksmithing, alloy creation, cooperage, and paint mixing. I have the good fortune to have received instruction from others who have been playing for several tellings now and I'm always happy to pass along what I've learned.

ACRO

  • MOVES:

Asian Influence, Somersault

  • MASTERS:

Dagny, AmonWil, Thephamus, Oni,

I know, I know, only two moves - what's wrong with me, right? I've only recently begun putting serious time into the various Body tests so I'm still a rank amateur at Acro. I didn't even pass the principle until I hit level 17! So ask me to Acro if you see me... please!

BREWING

IRL, I'm an amateur mixologist and brewer. So it stood to reason that I'd want to see how I could do with the in-game equivalent.

RAMI'S SPIRIT CARAVAN

WHAT ARE YOU SELLING?

Wine and beer and related supplies: small barrels, empty wine bottles, wine glasses, beer kettles, and vine cuttings. See my user page on the wiki for my current liquor inventory.

WHAT IS RAMI'S SPIRIT CARAVAN?

Starting from Queen's Retreat, I travel all of Egypt via chariot stops. When I arrive in each region I announce my presence in regional chat. I'll wait at the cs to make trades if someone chats me, otherwise I move on when there's free travel. I'll wait at least one full chariot cycle before moving on.

WHEN DO YOU DO THIS?

Usually on Saturday or Sunday starting sometime around 2PM PST.

HOW DOES TRADING WORK?

Beers are an even trade - barrel for barrel. I only carry 1 to 6 barrels. Due to spoilage I generally only carry or accept beers that are Very Potent.

Wines trades are bottle for bottle and vintage for vintage. If you want one bottle of a certain vintage of wine you must offer one bottle of the same vintage. I will also accept multiple bottles of younger wines in exchange for older wines - 1 vintage difference at 2:1, 2 vintages difference at 3:1, and so on. I will accept multiple bottle trades, stock permitting.

WILL YOU BUY/SELL ANYTHING BESIDES WINE/BEER?

You may assume that, in addition to wine and beer, I will usually have spare barrels, bottles, glasses, beer kits, and vine cuttings. In addition to that....

...at the suggestion of customers, I will trade any items in the following, limited fashion: One hour before the Caravan leaves I will request trade offers on the Bazaar channel. People are welcome to chat me with any type of trade offer whatsoever. If I have the item(s) and we strike a deal, I will bring the items along with me on the Caravan and notify you when I arrive at the chariot stop in your region.

WILL YOU SELL MY WINES FOR ME?

I will take other people's wines on consignment. My consignment fee is based on the number of wines you'd like me to rep. Chat me to discuss details. I will give you the exact bottles of wine that were offered for your wines.

HOW GOOD ARE PER RAMI WINES?

All of my own wines are over 12% alcohol and of excellent (or better) quality. Odd numbered vintages are higher quality than even numbered vintages. Tasting notes and grapes stats are on my user page.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

To add to my own tasting notebook, help my friends sell and collect new wines, and get to know the populace of Egypt a little better. I look forward to meeting you somewhere along the caravan route!

PAINTS

I hate the way the paint-mixing system works in this game. Despise it. Loathe it. But I will rant about that elsewhere. Here's my list of tested paint recipes. If you need any of these please feel free to chat me and I'll be glad to help you out - usually just materials cost. If I can save another player from the countless hours of hair-ripping frustration I've spent at the Pigment Laboratory I'll have done my good deed.

Anyway, here are my |Paint Recipes
