4. Pickles would be portable. When eaten, pickles would give boosts based on the herbs used and the natural boosts of the pickled item. Boosts would be reduced to half (round up) and penalties would stay the same to balance out the fact that it's portable.

For example, a cucumber pickle with anansi and aloe (using t4 stats) might boost +1 end +1 dex +1 foc +1 str -2 speed -2 con -1 perc (reducing all boosts to +1 and keeping penalties the same for more balance, since they'd be portable).

We can get glass jars. We can get water. We can get herbs (okay, so we can't get dill). We can get salt. We can get cucumbers (although pickled onions and so on would work too). There's even an insect called a "pickel[sic] slug". But... We cannot get pickles themselves! I ask you, is this fair?

Sign this petition today. Let our grandchildren never know a world without delicious, crunchy pickles.

More seriously, what I am suggesting is:

1. A new skill, called "pickling" be added.
2. Depending on your level, you can pickle different stuff, such as onions, mushrooms, and cucumbers.
3. Pickles would be made by sealing the item to pickle into a glass jar, adding water and salt, and crumbling any one or two desired herbs in, then waiting (perhaps a teppyweek).
4. Pickles would be portable. When eaten, pickles would give boosts based on the herbs used and the natural boosts of the pickled item. Boosts would be reduced to half (round up) and penalties would stay the same to balance out the fact that it's portable.

For example, a cucumber pickle with anansi and aloe (using t4 stats) might boost +2 end, +2 dex, +2 foc, and +1 str, and reduce -1 perc, -3 con and -3 speed.
