Special Needs Players

We need to make allowance and provide some assistance for special needs players. These might include - helping someone place chits in a warehouse or a trial guide. As the event in not a timed one per player, there is no penalty for any group. The only time limit is for the entire group to finish.

Known players needing Assistance

• Rana - requires help with placing chits in the warehouses and will need a guide for the trail course. She doesn't know how to chat very well and will need a guide with lots of patience.

Directions to the Registration Warehouses

When you enter through the gateway, continue to the lake area. On your left you will see 3 banners and a piers along the water's edge. This is the registration area.

RUNNERS REGISTRATION: When the warehouses open for registration, go to the banner area. There are 3 banners: Green White Purple. You may place one chit in a warehouse for one banner. This will be your running team. You may only belong to one team. Each team will be eligible for prizes. Select your team wisely.

FLYERS REGISTRATION: When the warehouses open for registration, go to the lake area and there is a warehouse near Pharaoh's Barge. Place one chit in the warehouse to register for the event.

Runners Race Instructions

This is not an individual timed event.

All members of a team will run the course together. All members of the team must finish.

There are 9 Stops along the ridges. You will place 1 personal chit in each of the 9 stops.

When you complete all 9 stops, return to the start area and place a chit in your team's warhouse to signal you have completed all 9 stops.

Flyers Race Instructions

All pilots please queue at the the purple banner.

You must fly to the designated island, land successfully on top of the island. You will place 1 chit in the warehouse on the island. You will then return to the pier and place a chit in the warehouse to signal the end of your turn.

You will have THREE attempts to land on the island.

Next Flyer please stage your airship near Pharaoh's Barge

Awards Ceremony Instructions

All prizes will be given out during the awards ceremony held at the Flight Deck CP near the lake area.

There will be wine, hookah and fireworks after the event.

There will be participation prizes to all registered players.

Grand Prizes will be awarded by lottery.

There will be Grand Prizes awarded to each of Runners Groups: Blue, White and Purple.

There will be a Grand Prize awarded to the winner(s) of the Flyer's Touch and Go Race.

Z: I had a dream, no a vision. I heard the wind singing to me. I went to the altar and mediated and heard the words: Shu Shu Shu Shu.

H: I too had a dream! In it I saw a goddess who rose above all. I went the the altar and meditated and also heard the words: Shu Shu Shu SHu.

N: I saw this too! A goddess who rose high into the sky and looked down upon the land of Egypt. I went to the altar and meditated and the words: Shu Shu Shu Shu echoed through the night.

H: The Goddess seemed to glowed with the light of stars.

N: I heard the voice of the Goddess calling to all of Egypt.

Z: Did either of you recognize the Goddess?

H: No, I saw only the stars.

N: No, I heard only her voice.

Z: Perhaps if we all mediate she will grace us with more visions.

Z: It has been some time since my first vision. I see her each night now.

H: I see her too. The stars surround her.

N: In my dreams her voice calls to all of Egypt.

Z: I have mediated at the altars of egypt. Each one I pass I stop to honor the goddess.

H: I have mediated too and the stars seem to burn even brighter.

N: Her voice is stronger each day.

Z: Do you think we have mediated enough? Do you think she might appear to all?

Z: Do you think the rest of Egypt will help us to bring forth the goddess?

H: Yes! I am certain the people of Egypt will help us. Please mediate to request her appearance.

N: Please help us bring the goddess forth by meditating.

[OOC] Please all mediate to request the presence of the goddess! You can go to an altar or use the emote.

Goddess: Egypt I hear your prayers.

Goddess: I see the land of Egypt is filled with wonders.

Goddess: The fields are bountiful and the fruits of the earth are open to all.

Goddess: But the people of Egypt are weary and their toil continues without end.

Goddess: The sky surrounds you and I will come again.

Background Notes

Nikara suggested that we can do Role Play (RP) for our event. This sounded like a lot of fun. She said she can role a toon to be the Goddess of Air.
