Guilds/Ball of Twine

From A Tale in the Desert
Jump to navigationJump to search

This is a guild for independent, feline-spirited individuals who do not like things provided for them but who sensibly don't want to build every workshop in the game.

Location: Adn, 784, 7144.

The guild provides workshops for use, but members will need to bring their own resources, with a few exceptions. Hand tools may be available for loan in the future.

Personal Chests

Each guild member may own a chest or two in a guild compound for their exclusive use.

Buildings

Maintenance: 2 of the compounds lack cornerstones. If these are maintained often enough they can be brought up to perfect condition without any materials, giving the rather confusing message: "No repairs are needed." The larger of the 2 tends to need about 1 brick a day, bricks are available for this purpose in the guild hall.

Sheep Pen

There is an empty sheep pen which may be used for slaughtering wild sheep. In the future I would like to keep sheep and run the pen on a "bring onions, slaughter a sheep" basis, but we need many more guild members to do that comfortably.

Rabbit Hutch

Making a clay dome for a hutch is quite a job, so we provide one for member use. Bring your own bunnies and carrots and please try not to get too distracted while they're in there. ;)

Kitchen

I hope to keep carry food here in the future for members use. If anyone else wants to make carry food here I'd appreciate it.

Beehives & Wax

Our sole resource. :) The beehives are left over from when guild camp was a residence. They may be checked at least every 8 hours (possibly every 4), and the wax used in casting or stored in the MCB compound. The honey may be kept. If the box near the MCB is full keep the wax too. Any wax in the box may freely be used for casting.
