MK's Glass Benches Guide/Bastet

From A Tale in the Desert
Jump to navigationJump to search

Welcome to Meroe Kitten's Glass Benches Guide! ONLY MK BENCHES ARE LISTED HERE!

For more help, please see Glassmaking Guide. Be forewarned, it is for T3 data! But is helpful for an overall view of the process.

This is our section to list the patterns for heat value (HV), drop value (DV), and heat steps (HS). If these terms are unfamiliar to you, please read the entire Glassmaking Guide. Also needed, knowing which cycle (Heating, Maintaining, Cooling) the bench is in, and the meaning of a 'tick'.

Note: I am adding a new term: Spike value (SV). It is the total value of the spike (which is constant) for the bench.

Onward we shall go...

  • HEAT VALUE (HS 56)
    • one 2cc addition (2cc STOP)
    • Proof 1: 1771-->1782-->1793-->1804-->1815-->1827-->1670
    • Proof 2: 1691-->1702-->1713-->1724-->1735-->1747-->1590
    • PATTERN 11, 11, 11, 11, 12, -157
  • 1Spike (SV 1368)
    • two 2cc additions (2cc-tick-2cc-STOP)
    • Proof: 0-->11-->33-->55-->77-->100-->112-->1368-->1211
    • PATTERN 11, 22, 22, 22, 23, 12, 1256, -157
  • 2Spike (SV 2680)
    • three 2cc additions (2cc-tick-2cc-tick-2cc STOP)
    • Proof: 0-->11-->33-->66-->99-->133-->156-->168-->1424-->2680-->2523
    • PATTERN 11, 22, 33, 33, 34, 23, 12, 1256, 1256, -157
  • 3Spike (SV 3992)
    • four 2cc additions (2cc-tick-2cc-tick-2cc-tick-2cc STOP)
    • Proof: 0-->11-->33-->66-->110-->155-->224-->1480-->2736-->3992-->3835
    • PATTERN 11, 22, 33, 44, 45, 69, 1256, 1256, 1256, -157
  • Conclusions for the SODA BENCH:
1. Heat Value is 56;
meaning at the end of your maintenance cycle you can add 2cc and only gain 56 degrees.
2. Spike Value is 1256;
meaning every time you add 2cc directly after adding 2cc on the previous tick, you will gain (1256 * (# in #Spike) + (56 * # of 2cc additions)
3. Drop Value is 157;
meaning that during the cooling cycle you will drop 157 degrees each tick.
4. Heat Steps are 5;
meaning that during the heat cycle, after adding ONLY 2cc after a drop in temperature, you can expect to wait 5 ticks plus 4 ticks maintaining temperature till a drop occurs. Or about 100 teppy seconds.
5. Spiking Heat Steps are 5+#Spike;
meaning that the Heat Step number is variable based directly on how many 2cc-tick steps you have done. This number counts from when you added the FIRST 2cc to start a Heat Cycle.
