Talk:Guilds/NP Aqueduct Association

Ikuu: Just adding some comments about my POV w.r.t this guild. I have serious doubts that any towers built in NP's chain will ever contend for passing the Test of Life. With that in mind, I will seriously frown upon any discussion or angling for high placement for anyone's own tower location in the chain. The only discussion I will expect and tolerate would be nominating an initial or early tower for someone else. With that in mind, I nominate that our first tower go to Voyna, and second tower to Quin, in recognition of their ongoing efforts to improve life in NP for all of its residents. Since the initial burst of towers will come all at once, this is more likely a token difference than a significant one.

Funerary Temple Glory packs?

The HG folks raised a good issue when we were negotiating with them re: their involvement - namely the need of folks to have some tiles for funerary temples/personal use. My thought on that is to make boxes for all the guild members in one of the guild CPs and stash a few tiles of each color into every box - perhaps 7 of each color we can produce, in each box. My one concern is with regard to what's fair given that some guild members won't be able to contribute tiles to the stockpile - I only care because someone might join only to get the glory tiles and not contribute anything. Three possible solutions come to mind:1) don't worry about it, 2) give non-oven contributors 1-2 tiles each instead of 4-7, or 3) give boxes to folks once they've contributed sufficient resources. Thoughts?

Mystivia: My 2 cents. As you have began ranking according to contribution level (For the most part) why not make the stash boxes of an appropriate level. So one cannot just join to get the goodies. As for the tile for tile thing, I don't mind if someone who doesn't have an oven but has contributed to the projects in other ways benefits with getting tiles. Depending on how many are in the guild I think would determine the # of tiles allowed (once that color is no longer needed for the project) Large group 7, small group 49 or whatever. That's something that could be defined once the way the system will work is set down. As for the other thing mentioned about the life test etc, i'm in agreement that voyna and i believe quin (though i don't know this person) aught to have a dib. I see, even up in HG what has been contributed by simple conversations.

Ikuu again: my suggested numbers for tiles/person presumes that tiles are distributed at start of large scale baking - after the project has all the tiles it needs, we can of course distribute them more freely.
