Euripedus

Surviving a shipwreck and finding myself on a small island near Egypt I began exploring only to find I had come to a place that had a few schools, a road system and a means to make a new life for myself. Now master of my own destiny I dwell in Egypt, living in the region known as Nomads' Paradise, for as a sailor and a Greek, I am a nomad by nature.

Knowledge Base

First off, plants. And the first plant is Peppers. I've discovered that peppers love being planted in fresh dirt, so rotate your plantings, avoid planting seed in the same spot over and over. You'll get a higher yield. I water my pepper plants more or less 1-1-2-2-2-3-3-4 and get consistently around 21 (17-24) at harvest. This saves on water jugs as opposed to watering 1-2-3-4-5-6-7. I have not noticed any time of day variation to yields.

Papyrus as we all know grows only on the Nile. But planting too many papy too close can cause loss of seed germination. Always plant papy about 10 steps apart from the last seed, you will get higher yields.

Flax is the staple of Egypt's industries. It insulates our homes, gives us rope, tent canvas and sails for ships. I personally like DanDruff#56. Having a guild cp that has no cornerstone, harvesting already rotten flax is helpful for maintenance. The yields are good and you only need to water it once. Small fields of DanDruff flax beds that haven't been harvested are handy and don't disappear into seeds over time. I've also discovered that with pollution it may not matter when you harvest the flax but it does when you plant it. Plant in clean soil, you can harvest even if the pollution levels are high and still get good yields.

Firepit

Firepits are not always easy to use. I managed to stoke a fire for 65 minutes/92 stokes for a yield of 57cc, 31 Lime and 95 Ash, completely manual. No macro, no color picker. The big trick is to watch for the flame to change color AND shape. The flame will "blip" when the graphic is used for the stoke phase and the flame is a bit different in it's "flow". However, when not burning limestone in the firepit a slightly different flame is present and can throw off your stoking. It's a trickier flame, smaller and less intense. The "blip" can be imperceptible.
