Just some rough fishing research. Usually would do 5-8 casts and record the types of fish. This location was further South than where a normal fishing pole would catch fish at night. The location in QR is nice since the river has the full band available to it both with a normal pole and the huntsman.
Bands
While the band did seem to follow the normal fish type pattern carp appears at each end. Malapterurus is also at the end with carp and will tend to alternate between carp, dead and the occasional malapterurus. These results were gathered on Akhet I-2 between 1730 and 1957 E-time. I have fished the bands again looking for specific fish during the day and the locations seem to hold steady though additional testing would be needed to confirm since the original data is quite old.
Sizes
Sizing seems to be consistent with the T3 results. Though I was catching from 5-9d fish. Also this was before most of the Deep Ocean pyramids were put up so I do not know if the normal sizes of fish caught with this pole increased. I did have periods where I would pull much larger fish than normal but I am not sure if it was due to the time and/or location. Since the spot had been producing standard sized fished and then larger catches I'm assuming it was time based. Speed does not seem to affect the sizing since at the time I had 6 or 7 natural speed but the fish sizes stayed the same. Perhaps with a large speed bump a size increase could be caused, but if it works like the T3 that is not the case.
Note
Another interested feature seems to be that with nearly every cast you catch a fish, excluding dead spot casts of course. So even though the normal fish size is much smaller than what you could catch with a normal pole and speed food you do get a 5-9d fish with each cast. I am not sure if that is normal or due to one of my other stats (str, dex, speed, per) which were between 6-7 at the time.
