Proposal for Worship Test of the Invocation

The Test of the Invocation would be a Worship test requiring group celebration rather than sacrifices.

The goal of the test would be to learn all of a set of Dances of Worship (similar to acro moves). There would be one Dance of Worship for each region, OR possibly one Dance of Worship for each of a set of gods.

Each dance would have a "recipe." In order to learn the dance, all elements of the recipe would have to be satisfied. The elements of the recipe would not be made public; players would have to figure them out as a group. The recipe for each dance would include each of two elements:

1) Location. In order to learn a dance, a player would have to meet another group of players and dance for an extended period of time at the right location for each dance. If there was one dance for each region, the location might be the local University of Worship, or perhaps any local shrine. If there was one dance per god, the location might be around a statute of that god.

2) Mix of people. The mix of people required for a group to learn each dance would vary. The goal of the mixes would be to make it impossible to learn most dances without very good luck or a very large group of people, including people who had not advanced very far in various areas and people who had achieved great things. Possible mixes required might be:

(a) One player at each level from 1 to 50;

(b) Five players who are at least students of each discipline in the game (not the same five people for each discipline);

(c) Ten players who have passed all Worship tests released before the Test of the Invocation;

(d) One player with perception, speed, dexterity, and/or other stats at each level from 0 through 10 (food boosts acceptable);

(e) More than 100 players at any level;

(f) . . . . ?

In order to attempt to learn the dance, the group of players attempting to learn would have to show up at the correct location, all click on to the location, and all and attempt the dance within 2 minutes of each other. If all elements were satisfied, music would play, and all players would perform and learn the new dance. Otherwise, nothing would happen.

Once a player learned a Dance of Worship, s/he would have a new emote available for that dance, possibly accessible through a separate menu (as for acro). A player would pass the Test of the Invocation when s/he learned all the dances.
