Scarab Garden at egypt 619 -6183 owned by Unknown
Upon reaching the scarab garden, the statue which during the day is made of marble and lifeless as stone now is living, moving. "Khefre..." you speak. Khefre steps up to the side of the boat and Ra says, "I require an army to protect me the rest of my journey." Khefre turns to the Scarab garden and through the archways appear one large beetle after another, marching in unison, falling in behind and beside the boat.
"Our enemy will be near a pit of fire." Ra says to you. The black river beneath the boat leads NORTHEAST from the Scarab garden a very short way into the east end of the gardens of the Pharaoh's Palace where your adventure began. You think you can hear the crackling of the fire from here.
Extra Clue:
(Go Northwest of here a short distance, you are looking for a Flaming Altar. It is a decorative object in the park next to the Scarab Garden, you will find a purple banner on either side of it.)
