Added SCAR Divi, its similar to ACtool, but in my opinion much better. It has very nice support for Bitmap searching, and even Bitmask searching. The bitmaps can be converted to strings, and loaded directly in from the script (Rather then saved as images). Lots of other features, but people will have to find them. SCAR also supports bitmap masks, and Deformable template models, which allows the macro to find and identify multiple images, or peices of text, even when the colours, position, or even size has changed. Its possible to make fairly advanced macros that will work regardless of window positions ingame, or resolution.--[[User:Kinslayer|Kinslayer]] 08:32, 29 August 2009 (EST)

Macros

Well, I see some people are discussing/sharing macros, and I think that's a good thing. Nobody likes the tedium of clicking, and not everyone has the ability to write good macros/scripts to handle that while they are there.

REMEMBER - it is ILLEGAL to go afk while macroing. If a eGenesis staff member catches you, you could be banned for breaking the terms of service.

With that in mind, let's make this a normal page of the wiki.

  • Carpentery Blades (Autohotkey) - (1024x768 only) Make 7.1k-7.2k blades in 10 seconds. Many automated functions, via hotkeys, during script. Extremely simple and repeats previously confirmed successful blades with a single click. No need to find the same mouse coordinates over and over! It will even automatically double F8, zoom in for you...
  • Crematory (Actools) - Crematory script, preconfigured to various guilds' crematories. Can be changed to your work on yours. The resolution that it will worked on can also be changed. Currently configured at (1024x768)
  • 6 or 12 Kettles (Autohotkey) - Runs 6 or 12 kettles (Potash, Salt, Acid) perfectly (1024x768). Status and timer on GUI to watch progress.
  • Digging and Skills Timer (Autohotkey) - Monitors any black/red text in skills tab (digs/limestone/dirt, loom, sand mines, more...) that creates the "You're too tired) messages. Will click where you tell it while its black and pause while the text, in skill tab, is red.
  • Hackling Rake (Autohotkey) - Monitors any black/red text in skills tab (Endurance) that creates the "You're too tired messages. Will click all the rake menu positions correctly while its black and pause while the text, in skill tab, is red. Not tested on Flax Combs.
  • Unlimited Brick Racks (Autohotkey) - Asks what kind of bricks you are making. Point and middle click all your racks. Will Load racks, wait until done and Unload racks, repeat until stopped.
  • Unlimited Carpentry Benches (Autohotkey) - Point and middle click all your carpentry benches. Then it will cycle through and hover each one and hit the [P]lane Boards (P key) over each one very quickly. The more benches you have, the faster you will plane your entire inventory of wood.

  • Unlimited Pottery Wheels (Autohotkey) - Point and middle click all your wheels. Will send the [J]ug key over each one, wait until done and [T]ake your jugs. Repeat until stopped.
  • Unlimited Wheat Beds (Autohotkey) - Point and middle click all your wheat beds. Then it will cycle, every 4s, and hover each bed and hit the [W]ater and [H]arvest (H+W key) over each one.
  • Popup Box Closer (Autohotkey) - Monitors for popup boxes and closes them immediately. Originally created to assist hunting falcons in Test of Safari (that creates popup boxes with every tree you click).
  • Auto Grass (Autohotkey): Enter amount of grass to collect. Automatically walks around in a circle and collects grass without moving too far from where you started. Great to get your Rhythmic Strength skill up.
  • Fishing (Autohotkey) - Point and middle click your fishing icon location and it will ask for how many casts you want to make and fish every 15s until completed.
  • Barrel Vise (Autohotkey) 1024x768 only - Makes any quantity of barrels on a barrel vise. Watches the fuel/flame bar, not a timed macro, very accurate.

AC Tools

There are a couple of issues with AC Tools that, once you fix, make it very easy and good to use.

  • Windows XP, start the program in Administrator Mode.
  • If you get the error "Could not find Decal's MEMLOCKS.XML", just click Macro > Asheron's Call 1 Settings > Skip AC Mouse Memory Writes

Personally I like autohotkey because it's freeware and is still being updated - Blogot

I second the Autohotkey recommendation, it has some extremely powerful features but is still fast and lightweight, and new features are being added all the time. - Dragyn

Personally I like AutoIt 3.0 it is freeware updated alot and it is very powerful allows macroing of almost anything windows - Ledeanna

I second the AutoIt recommendation, it is very powerful as well, easy to code and allows compiling the scripts for use by people who want to macro but feel not competent enough to write their own or who dont want to install the scripting software. ~Anguz - Note - AutoHotKey also allows you to compile an exe for machines with out AHK installed. ~Jhnny
