This building becomes available when you have learned the Animal Husbandry tech.

Cost

Built in a Compound. Uses 18x19 cells. Can be built outside of compound on dirt, using small construction site.

Note that once build you can reposition it and create a grassy piece of land on sand for example. However it is still sand!

Use

A rabbit hutch is a living space for Rabbits. They reproduce and can be slaughtered for the various rabbit byproducts. Rabbits are also used to identify falcon roosts for Test of the Safari.

Feeding

A rabbit hutch holds up to 100,000 Carrots for feeding the rabbits.

  • If the number of rabbits gets above 30 or so, they may break out and all escape (overcrowding).
  • If the hutch runs out of carrots, they will break out and escape.

A break out doesn't damage the Rabbit Hutch.

In T3: a female rabbit will eat 1 carrot every 3 game hours, while a male rabbit will eat 4 carrots in the same time period.
