Leadership Guild Chat with Pluribus

[01h15m] Pluribus has changed rank and become an Initiate.
[01h15m] Pluribus has joined the guild.
Kalmkitty: [01h12m] hello!
Pluribus: [58m] Hello... Just going over the test proposals... I will say the best of the bunch is Touristor.
It does need some work to reduce fraudulent tours and I think the distance is WAY too short.
(100 coords is only a little over 90 seconds at speed 0 it will lead to small lame tours)
Pluribus: [56m] Sponsorhsip seems like a watered down lame DP...
Hounddog: [56m] lol
Pluribus: [55m] New DP... Interesting set of changes to an existing test, not sure it qualifies as a new test...
Pluribus: [54m] Spepard is more Body than leadership, Leading sheep does not make you a leader of man
Pluribus: [53m] Lawmaker... really that isnt a test... that is participate in the legal system...
Kalmkitty: [53m] i like touristor :)
Pluribus: [52m] Disipline.... More a game than a test... your entire investment in a test should not be only 30 minutes to pass
Hounddog: [52m] ow about pin the tail on the donald...
Hounddog: [52m] how
Balthazarr: [49m] tourist is the only one that is testish, but needs to be beefed up to be less gamable...
longer minimumdistances, minimum tour lenght in time
Pluribus: [48m] The biggest issue with New DP is that it basicly says no one becomes DP EVER...
Who has ever been a DP candidate that hasnt had 3 enemies in the entirety of egypt
Pluribus: [43m] Magistrate... Overall the election system seems ok, seems like very much like another popularity contest though...
Balthazarr: [42m] Well in the my T6 DP election I had 16 enemies when I won 98 to 16, so that would be very true Pluribus. :-)
But then again I had only been playing a month so I guess I had yet to upset too many people. ;-)
Kalmkitty: [42m] lol
Pluribus: [40m] Only 2 groups should have ban authority... DPs who are voted by egypt to have the power... and me...
Kalmkitty: [39m] i agree
Pluribus: [36m] Magistrate... I also cant give magistrates the ability to promote any petition to a ballot.
(I kill off almost 90% of ballots as being pony requests, physic veto, test veto, or feature requests)
Kalmkitty: [36m] but either way.. thats not what we are here for :)
Pluribus: [35m] LOL, all the GMs do is type /jail <playernam> and send them a chat...
They will either quit or accept being talked to by the GM... but the GM cant perma ban them...
The worst that happens is that I get called in to settle it.
Kalmkitty: [33m] lol
Pluribus: [31m] Yeah, Some people will abuse the GMs since they feel entitled to abuse the people in a game they arent paying for...
Pluribus: [30m] Not often, but it happens
Kalmkitty: [30m] that is true
Pluribus: [26m] Heck, as a GM, I would have been hard pressed to NOT ban some people over the years...
Kalmkitty: [16m] so touristir would be my pick.. with some changes in distance and time.
