Test of ritual mummification

Test idea in work Egypt is now lacking in the mummy department, so i would like to suggest a test related to them

still a work in progress but the base idea is there

Quick description

The test consists in getting a cadaver from the university of worship, and giving it a proper burial. The test is intended for a group of 4 players, each receiving part of the instruction and requiring them to get together and figure out the proper treatment and ritual. The cadaver requires specific treatments of salt, perfume and embalming fluid (similar to ambrosia, but would require 3 ingredients).

Then the body needs to be wrapped into bandages (made out of linen in a loom). Each cadaver lasts 24 hours before it is no longer suitable to be mummified. Once the cadaver is mummified, it requires a burial ceremony. The ceremony should take place near the university from which the cadaver was obtained. To begin the ceremony, the mummy needs to be presented to the university for examination. After being deemed worthy, the ceremony could commence, consisting of burning spirits in a brazier, burning incense, reciting a prayer, and an action and offering for the afterlife.

Requirement

The test would require a few new items.

Bandage ; made from 10-20 linen in a loom

Embalming fluid ; similar to ambrosia, need to mix 3 base ingredient as requested by the test. would also be part of ritual item skill at school of worship. or part of the basic chemical. to be made into a toxic kitchen or normal kitchen.

the list of ingredient could contain wine(any flavor 12% alcohol 2 vintage)and 2 other ingredient among oil, camel milk, moss,mushroom,honey(aromatic and not),royal jelly,any extract, herbs, resin, ash, lime, salt, ink,date.

Demonstration

10 bandage

100 oil

20 candle

10 embalming fluid (any kind)

1 of each spirit type (fish,mineral,vegetable,grain,worm,wood,rock,fruit)

10 incense(any kind)

100 salt

10 perfume (any kind)

Detailed ritual

the ritual would need to be completed 7 time

First the player would need to start a group of 4.First player start the group,and the 3 other ask to join in order.Once the group is completed each player will be assigned priest 1 to 4,then priest 1 ask a body from the university of worship.

Once the body acquired,the group will each receive instruction on how the mortician demand it to be performed.Each player will have one action to perform.The body will degrade in 24 hours and if failed the player will each have to wait 24 hours before they are allowed to try again.

Priest 1; rub the body with salt(approx 50-100 db of salt)

Priest 2; treat the body with embalming fluid (requirement above )

Priest 3; apply perfume to the body (random citrus)

Priest 4; wrap the body in bandage (10-20 bandage)

Priest 1; bring the body to university of worship to have the expert mortician examine it.

Once the group have a mummy, the group will receive information about the family and their wish for the burial.Each priest will receive part of the ritual and they will need to figure out the proper ritual.It would consist of 4 action per priest and a random altar location.

Each priest will have to; light brazier with the proper spirit,light incense ,recite the proper ritual and give the offering to the altar.After the 4 item are on the proper ritual have been done and all 4 item are on the altar, all priest meditate.

Idea for the ritual

A few idea for the chant/prayer on the last part of the ritual.You would receive the name of all family member(randomly generated) being parent, spouse, children.Also would receive his profession,cause of death, interest,and worshiped Egyptian god.

It would look something like this,

Tufet son of Akum and Nufteth died (a few day before the acquisition of body) of (random cause)

Loved spouse of Huteth he/she will be dearly missed, he/she was (profession) and a pillar of (region)

Loving father/mother of Askesh and Tufuth, in their name we now send you off

May Horus grant you his blessing and welcome you into the afterlife

Could be similar to humble priest ritual, randomly picked in a list.
