A few questions:

  • Do the ghost obelisks appear at every monument, 3 times per month, or is only one monument chosen at a time? If it is only one monument, it would be very difficult to find the ghost obelisks since there are many many monuments and in very distant locations. If they appear at every monument 3 times per month, I would do a quick calculation to see what % of RL time the obelisks are present (it seems like 72 rl hours per in-game month) so you can predict the chance of you finding a ghost obelisk if you head out to a monument. The chance needs to be high enough that players don't get frustrated and give up, but not so high that you would find one every time.

For every discipline, 3 times per month would appear. This would not scale by the number of Tales run, so one game month it may appear close to the T1 Arch monument, the next game month by the T3 Arch monument etc.


  • Perhaps there should be some incentive to work in groups of 3 instead of alone (as would be the spirit of Architecture). For example, if you are building all 3 sites, perhaps each site would get more difficult to build unless the site was constructed by a different person. This way, you could still do it alone but it would be hard: you would be better off getting two others to help you.

Yes, to multiply costs if done by 1 person instead of groups is super, absolutely.

  • To minimize new artwork, the pylons of Rebirth could simply be 'miniaturized' versions of the actual monuments (like, 1/20 of the size or something) The ghost obelisks would probably have to be new artwork, or could be modified obelisks that already exist ingame.
