Welcome to the zFree Aqueduct Guild (ZAQ)

We manage the aqueduct line (to be established) in central River Plains. Although zFree is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining the aqueduct line, ZAQ is open to anyone who lives, works, plays, or at least thinks fondly of River Plains.

Our guild hall is near the first tower at 1384, 3446, and we are planning on 100 passing towers.

Proposed Route

All built spots are marked with bonfires; please double check carefully the location when building.

This map uses the CondMap template, if this map imports data from other maps please edit those. Please see Maps for further details and links to all raw data pages

This is a list prioritized in order. Please refer to this if you're wondering how you can help, or ask in ZAQ chat.

Cost Estimates

Chat with Melia

Chat copied December 23rd, 2015

Yendor: [02d10h00m] Greetings!
Yendor: [02d09h59m] I'm plotting a possible aqueduct line for zFree, and one of our possible pump sites would run a tower right through the middle of your compound with a tower at 1390, 3445, and the pump site on the east side of that funky little island
Yendor: [02d09h59m] I don't think that's OK, but in the very unlikely case you thought it would be OK I thought I would chat you anyway
melia: [02d03h57m] i check coords to see where you want outside my cp
melia: [02d03h56m] the coords are marked with bonfire
melia: [02d03h55m] and towers are high
melia: [02d03h53m] put bonfire where pumping tower will come
melia: [01d05h44m] hey yendor
Yendor: [14h33m] Hi! I think you saw me when Lukeera was playing me
Yendor: [14h32m] I did built bonfires at the pump sites and towers
Yendor: [14h32m] It does cross over your compound very close. Then heads over to the mountains near GVF
Yendor: [14h31m] It looks like it would be a very good route for us. If you are willing to move, we have salvage 7 and could reimburse you for any missing materials, as well as giving you a tower so you'd pass the Test of Life
Yendor: [14h31m] I'd also have to check with Green Valley Falls as the line goes around the mountain sourounding their caldera
Yendor: [11h47m] Ion is willing to use his camp decoration to help you resettle. I can also give you a ruby light box
melia: [08h06m] just move it aside that there is space to bild your towers
melia: [08h06m] i dont mind
Yendor: [07h59m] Wow, that is very generous indeed. We need to double check with Aubery (Green Valley Falls) but yes we will set up there. If you do want help or goodies or bribes, please let us know
melia: [07h52m] what briks are needed
melia: [07h52m] fire or normal briks
melia: [07h52m] or how mutch straw
Yendor: [07h50m] Aqueducts are extremly expensive. They need concnrete (gravel from medium stones) and clay pipe segments (made on pottery deck and vault kiln)
melia: [07h49m] dont have pottery 2 to use gvf pottery deck to maake piped
Yendor: [07h48m] Smashing stones to make gravel / concrete would be helpful but honestly just letting us build it at your place has already done enough for us
melia: [07h47m] will take my sledge and med sones
melia: [07h47m] stones
melia: [03h35m] present for yesdor slave 655 323 rp
Yendor: [00m] Thank you -- We're about to set up the guildhall and a bunch of wareshoues near where the first tower will be. One final question: Is it OK if I post our conversation to the wiki so people will know you are OK with the pump and towers there?
melia: [00m] yes yendor
Yendor: [00m] Thank you :-)
melia: [00m] i let you gutys move my cp to bild test odf life

Chat with AlexisBelle (Wanderers)

Chat copied December 23rd, 2015

Yendor: [12h20m] Greetings!
Yendor: [12h20m] I am looking for a good path for an aqueduct in River Plains.
Yendor: [12h20m] The ideal route will end with towers at 0' eleveation to have the maximum number suppoted by the pump
Yendor: [12h18m] I was woderning if it would be acceptable to you to end our aqueduct line in your camp? With towers at 1160, 2805 and 1180, 2805? We would of course be glad to include you in the aqueduct guild so you'd pass the test of life, but I wanted to check to see if those were OK before finalizing the route. If not we can end it early in the desert at 8' or so
AlexisBelle: [03m] Hey :)
AlexisBelle: [03m] Sure go ahead
AlexisBelle: [03m] Neither od those spots would bother me
AlexisBelle: [02m] *of*
Yendor: [00m] Very good. Any may I cut-n-paste your response to our wiki so people will know those tower sites are OK with Wanderers?
AlexisBelle: [00m] Sure :)
Yendor: [00m] Thank you :-)
AlexisBelle: [00m] Your welcome

Chat with Aubery (Green Valley Falls)

Chat copied December 23rd, 2015

Yendor: [01h50m] Tower 1080, 3150
Yendor: [01h50m] Tower 1060, 3150
Yendor: [01h50m] Tower 1040, 3150 (#45)
Aubery: [01h50m] Hiya :)
Yendor: [01h50m] Greetings!
Aubery: [01h49m] We went thru the rim of the crater and we are on board with it I have two or three more to chat with but Its a go from our stand points
Yendor: [01h49m] Excellent! Thank you very much.
Aubery: [01h49m] I give you credit for working that out like that with the grow spots in back of the crater in a line for potential grow spots
Yendor: [01h48m] Well, I tried to design the line like we did in T3. It's freakin' hard with so many camps and so few mountains
Aubery: [01h48m] I was a wee young babe that tale :)
Yendor: [01h47m] I guess one more question: Is it OK I post our chat to the wiki so people will know we have GVF permission to build on "your" mountain?
Aubery: [01h45m] Ill ask Shemei if that okay
Aubery: [01h45m] I didnt know you could do that
Yendor: [01h44m] Well it's cut-and-paste so it isn't completly fool-proof, but it does cut down on "Have you talked to ..." questions
Aubery: [01h42m] True :) im sure she is okay with this all but she is the house *Mom* I ask her major questions like Ruby to you all
Yendor: [01h41m] First among equals - I understand and let me know when the final OK is given
Aubery: [01h35m] Wont be long very happy you have taken the charge and gave our home the concideration of going around and not inside thank you
