GHawkins: Hello Egypt and welcome to the latest round of the Demipharaoh elections. I am your host GHawkins, and I'm pleased to have with me here today your two candidates, Anastasya and Aveege!
GHawkins: Many of you will recognize Anastasya from last month's election, which puts me in a conundrum as a host. Is it worth asking the same questions again when Anastasya has already answered them? Should Aveege be given a chance to answer them too? On the whole, some core questions are too important to ignore and will be asked of both candidates again, but I will strive to have different questions. As always, and more than ever in fact, audience questions are encouraged.
GHawkins: If you have questions that you would like to submit during the debate, just submit them to Worship Station or via /chat to GHawkins but please note that comments, discussion, personal attacks, and redundant questions will be tabled or asked to be rephrased. Also, I will do my best to also reframe any candidate-specific questions so that all candidates can answer them (though your original question will remain intact for the person you specified.)
Anastasya: Hello Egypt :)
Aveege: Hello Egypt, GHawkins, and Anastasya
Aveege: Aveege is the name and ATITD is the game. I started playing back in T3, continued through some of T4 before originally leaving. I recently restarted playing this tale 74 days ago. I can usually be found around RP hanging out. As for my game likes im still re-exploring the game. I enjoy glass-making and the other skill based crafting like that, and i love being a witness at weddings lol :D
Anastasya: I am a French player, married, I have a 6 year old girl :)))) I love the disciplines of leadership and human body. I participate in everything I can when I can, I will gladly help anyone in need it. Personally I started playing 29 months ago. I love flowers and crossbreeding, I really have alot of flowers :)) I love this game, the spirit of the game, self-help, community. mentor for me was a hard test to pass but one of the most attractive because it is much more than a race, it's also one of the important points of the game! I like to help, even after having spent Mentor I continue to mentor, and to help all those in need just because I like it. Obviously there is also Covered cartouche which is one tests of the most the fun things to do.
SECOND QUESTION If you win this election you will pass the test of the Demi-Pharaoh and be our 36th DP of this tale. There are a variety of points of view on what the role of DP should and shouldn't be, what is yours, especially now that we're in an unprecedented free to play era.
Aveege: Ive always seen DP's as the people of egypt who will go above and beyond for there fellow citizens. A person who is friendly and approachable. Someone who is easy to talk to and fair. Someone who devotes there time to others.
Anastasya: Well for me first DP should be able to resolve any problem that may arise in the game. It is a model for the people, should be close to Pharaoh and the people to be like a bridge between the two, form a set. Finally a DP must be a leader, a good mentor, and should be on the initiative or assist regional projects or events bringing more people to help and encourage players to participate
THIRD QUESTION Do you think there is a role in ATITD for disruptive players? How should DPs interact with players that intentionally buck community norms?
Aveege: Ive seen conflicts in the game arise back in T3, not so much these days and it was never a good thing for the community. I think disruptive players do just that, disrupt the enjoyable playtime of others. And a DP should try there best to resolve whatever issue is going on which might just be them not understanding the communitu norms.
Anastasya: no I do not think, and I think you have to be firm with these people
FOURTH QUESTION Aside from stature and the power to ban people, DPs have very few powers. What have you done so far without DP powers to improve the community, and will DP powers make you more effective at helping the community?
Aveege: Ive been playing a short time this tale so my list of accomplishments is short. I have done my best to always be there for egypt. Recently i had the honor to be asked help out and run the PBS Boards for the late night insomnia crowd like myself. The DP power wont make me for effective, but will give egypt a insomnia DP who is around in the wee hours for any disputes that might arise.
Anastasya: yeay good question i have translate lol
Anastasya: I just love this question because I do not expect much from the position of DP for me to be a DP before all an example, a person close to the people, ready to help in all circumstances. I personally concacre all my free time to mentor, welcome the new, help, etc .... I could cited plenty of arguments lately we (not just me) réelever entire aqueduct for my latest new arrivals, I organize a "gravel party" and "cement party" short I try to do the best

FIFTH QUESTION If the general consensus of the rest of the DPs were that that person should not be banned, but you felt strongly that they should, what would you do?
Anastasya: i bend to majority, but I would continue to monitor with one eye ;) ^^
Aveege: I would go with the consensus of the other DP's. I know a good majority of them and if they feel strongly about something i would take time to reconsider myself and my views on situation.
SIXTH QUESTION Under what circumstances would you consider utilizing the tools created by the Anti-Griefer's Act (AGA) law? What do you consider 'griefing'? Do you feel the AGA has been used well so far?
Aveege: I consider griefing to be anyone who intentionally runs around filling up someones camp with bonfires, wood planes, or just trying to ruin other peoples game. If someone did something like that after being told not to i would consider using the AGA. I have not seen the AGA used since i been here so i cant speak on the final part of that question.
Anastasya: I do not know very well the subject, I admit. So I can not really comment on it, sorry. (oops sorry time)
SEVENTH QUESTION Have you played ATITD under other names in this tale or past ones, and if so, what were the names you played under?
Aveege: Nope, ive always been known by Aveege. In most games i play i go by Aveege unless taken. :)
Aveege: And i currently have no alts, so known by nothing else.
Anastasya: no, i have started playing onT6
EIGHTH QUESTION Does anyone have access to login to your account? (i.e., would any person other than yourself ever have access to your ban powers)? Note: spouselog does not allow access to ban powers.
Aveege: Nope only me.

CANDIDATE STATEMENT We're coming up on an hour and I'm sure people want to get back to their herbing, so I would like each of you to wrap up now and tell Egypt what they will get in a DP by voting for you. And if you do indeed want them to vote for you, please include why you would like them to.
Aveege: Well i would be honored to have any votes for DP. It has been a honor to run against Anastasya. Win or lose i will continue to be me and help out in anyway i can. If you vote for me you will get a fair and honest DP, someone who will listen and help mediate disputes, and as i said, im a insomniac so you will get a late night DP lol. Thank you all.
Anastasya: DP if I am elected to start I would be the first French DP of the T6 you find that normal? if I am elected, i am your 10eme oracles of leadership, I would be really happy if I can. I'm already active but someone would try to do even more, I like to help mentor and so this is natural for me. :) If I can be useful for all the things he will not hesitate to ask me or helping to organize large events or even just for festival or other short I am an open person and I board as currently not much to do I'm open to any ideas. I would like to say a big thank you to you people egyptien without it would not be feasible
