Land Ownership Rights Act (LORA)

Land Ownership Rights Act (LORA)would encompass the following aspects:

1. Only Guilds with a guildhall of at least two paid account members can apply for Land Ownership.

2. Land Ownership shall be derived from the location surrounding the guildhall of Elder member's primary guild that is applying for land ownership.

3. The area of land being applied for shall radiate out from the center of the guildhall that said elder member on a paid account that is applying for land ownership.

4. The radius of land ownership is dependent on the size of the guildhall and its current paid account member base.

4a. Trial accounts while they attribute to the size of the guild, shall not affect the size of the land ownership radius until they are paid account members.

5. If a paid account guild member in a guild that has claimed land, then becomes an unpaid account member, that account owner has 30days to rectify this before the land ownership radius shrinks to reflect the new paid account guild member size.

6. Once a guild satisfies all the criteria to be eligible for apply for land ownership, the paid account elder guild member can then place a “sign post” down next to the guild stating its intent to claim land.

7. Paid account owners who, by virtue of this land ownership application going through would then be considered to be within the land ownership radius and have cornerstone placed buildings will have 10 days to either:

Support the claim

Oppose the claim

Or apply for membership into the guild

8. All paid account guild members that by virtue of this land ownership application going through would then be considered to be within the land ownership radius may support or oppose the claim.

8a. A simple majority wins would be supported by the process.

If a claim passes, all paid account guild members buildings within the radius are considered cornerstone applied up to a maximum of paid account guild members times two.

All constructs built within the radius by paid account guild members are considered guild owned. Constructs within paid account guild members buildings have ownership controlled by house owner as per current methods.

Any non-guild member who builds within radius will be warned that they are building within a guild region. However this will not bar said paid member from building a construct.

Provisions to stop land controlling

If a paid account member is a member of a guild that claims successfully, land ownership then that paid account cannot contribute to the member count of another guilds application to to claim land. (So by virtue hopefully you will only get the benefits and contribute to the growth of one guildhalls region.)

This may require the classification of guild members being controlled in a different way.

Region size would be finite and require a limitation set(Teppy to decide)

So the intent is to give benefit to working and living together, but not prohibiting players around you and not limiting their game experience in any ways other than providing a warning popup that they are in a guilds region of influence. This could also have flow on affects as a way to promote your guild and increase your player base and thus your region size.
