Raw Silk is made in Silkworm Farms. Silkworm Farms go through a specific cycle where eggs are laid, hatch and then grow. This cycle takes 4 days and there's no way to speed it up.

During the feeding phase, each silk farm needs thistles with a specific mix of 6 different vitamins. Many of the required thistles are impossible to make due to thistle voids. The silk farmer then has to wait 2.8 days for a new set of thistle voids. Sometimes the new voids aren't any better than the old voids and it's still impossible to make the thistles.

As a result, raw silk can't be mass produced as easily as other items in ATiTD. It can take days or even weeks to produce a batch of silk.

If you want to order raw silk, first decide how much you want and determine what items you'll use to pay for it. Large amounts of silk are expensive and I only take limited amounts of some items like slate or cabbage.

Next open a chat with me and I'll let you know if I have that much raw silk in stock. If not, the best I can do is give you an estimate of how many days or weeks it will take to produce the silk.
