Hens are female chickens, which lay Eggs when kept and fed barley in a Chicken Coop.  (More information can be found on the Chicken Coop page.)

Hens consume less Barley per day than Roosters consume. Hens will lay eggs even if there are no roosters in the coop, but the eggs may not hatch if not fertilised by roosters.

Finding Roosters & Hens

To find a hen or rooster, one must first learn the Avian Selection tech at a University of Worship.

Hens are found by examining Pale Pampas Grass close to the shore of a body of water. Roosters are found by examining Dark Pampas Grass* close to the shore of a body of water.

Hens and Roosters are housed in a Chicken Coop.
