A new conflict game that I am terrible at. Here I am getting my butt beaten by Cory0210 in Tak.

When it became fishing time I was amazed that I found a Malawhatchamacallit fish. .

August 27, 2009 Dinner and Play Review So this evening the human went to dinner at Blue Fin, a lovely restaurant at the W Hotel in Manhattan. The food and service were great and a jazz band played as the human stuffed her face. After dinner the human and her friend went to see the play, "Jersey Boys." Being that the human is kind of old, she remembered singing and dancing to The Four Seasons as a little kid and she was all excited to see the play. It was wonderful. The music and story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons is a must see if you are in NYC. The only disappointment for the human was that they didn't sing Candy Girl, which was one of her favorite songs. Other than that, she knew every word to every song, much to the dismay of her companion who probably wished the human kept her singing to herself.

August 26, 2009 A huge shout out to Hanid and Cory0210 for helping me out with the paint needed for my Raeli Mosaic. I truly appreciate all of their assistance. Today I am working on the mosaic itself, which is located at "The Official Sami Fan Club" in Saqqarah near the chariot stop by the YAYA guild hall. I will have a lovely grand opening announcement when it is open to the public. Thank you, thank you once again Hanid and Cory0210.

August 25, 2009 BooProcrasinatorBoo is going to be my new name. I was very upset with myself because I had taken a lovely picture of the Pyro show the other night and now I can't find it to put up here on the wiki. If I had put it up the night I took it, well that's what I should have done. So the new project is the Raeli Mosaic. I only need the paint and found out tonight that I forgot to upgrade my pigment lab. So here I am making iron pots and copper sheeting instead of making paint.

August 21, 2009 Okay, so now that the kitchen is done and the painter is finished, (I won't go into that after the painter left I went to the powder room and turned around and saw the back of the bathroom door NOT painted, or how I screamed and yelled that after 7 weeks I was NOT having anyone else in my place, or how I got the paint and brush and put paper on the floor and painted the back of the door myself out of sheer frustration) I have spent the last 24 hours cleaning my place of sawdust and whatnot now that everything is done. So here I was comfy cozy and I go to the fridge and open it up, a soda bottle falls down on the new porcelain tile, the bottle breaks open and sprays soda all over my new kitchen cabinets, countertop, walls and floor. AND on that note, I made an achievement today and was very excited but wondered how lazy I was at fishing that it took me this long to get it.

August 19, 2009 A project. That's what I need is a project. So I have decided to make a Raeli Mosaic. This should be interesting.

August 17, 2009 Jeff came in 2nd, hip hip hooray!

August 16, 2009 Jeff starts in 21st today at Michigan. Let's have a big shout out to ELVIS. Today is the anniversary of Elvis' death. The human went to Memphis 2 years ago to visit Graceland and is a huge fan. Thankyou, thankyouverymuch.

August 14, 2009 A day of real life. Dang, I hate when it gets in the way.

August 13, 2009 Today a great person passed away. Mr. Les Paul. If you don't know who Les is, then you probably don't rock on. If it wasn't for Les, Clapton would just sound like any old guitar player. You Rock Les.

So, Wahim was around as usual, and Sami wasn't, well I was not going to go on with having to see Wahim on all the time and never getting to propose to my Sami. The following is what happened: As you can see, both brothers speak very little...

News Flash: In Drummond, Wisconsin, a woman was swimming in a lake where she was repeatedly bitten by a bunch of otters. So when you're out there otter hunting don't think that cute little thing won't jump up and take a big bite out of your butt when you turn around.

August 11, 2009

So there wasn't much going on today. I was puttering around making stuff to make ash to make potash to make sheet glass and I came upon a bunch of MariahBoPeeps sheep.

August 10, 2009 So I went out and about in the a.m. and came home in the middle of the race just in time to see Jeff crash and get a DNF.

So I wanted a sawmill and made a trade for some of the alloys... But then I needed brass and I was tired of trading for stuff so I made a reactory and made some brass. Now I have to make a gazillion things to make the sawmill that will make the boards that I'm way to lazy to make.

August 9, 2009 YAY...YAY...YAYI passed Vigil today. Congrats to everyone that passed, it was a great Vigil weekend. Side Note: The race was cancelled AGAIN and will be run tomorrow at Watkins Glen NY.

August 7, 2009 Yippeee Fred is home and I have put him in his cage behind me at my computer so I can observe him while I am being a vigilante at the Worship World vigil this weekend. Come one come all and vist.

Fine print: Jeff starts 31st on Sunday

August 6, 2009 Here is a lovely pirate ship I built for my wonderful captain. I built it and transferred it over to the captain and hope that it works ok for the principal/test.

Holy Cow! The tile guys came and did all the backsplash and finished up and left. As they were leaving I said, okay who does what next (with a big smile on my face, but horror in my heart that this was going on for 5 weeks.) The guy looks at me and smiles and says, "The head guy comes over later, takes your money, and that's it." I was like, you're done? He say's yes, leaves, and I dance around my kitchen for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes of dancing and screaming and carrying on was over I realized the painter is coming on Monday and will be here for 2 days.

Fred is staying one more day in the hospital (cha ching) and Chelsis of the YAYA guild, big shout out to Chelsis, told me to act normally when I pick him up from the vet. So I have started writing down what I normally say to Fred when he is alone at home with me, it goes like the following:

"Freddie’s a good boy. Fred the head. What's the deal cockatiel? What's the story, morning glory, what's the word, Freddy bird? How's my little baby? Did you poopoo in your food? Who loves you baby? Is that mommy’s little baby? Give mommy a kiss big boy." And so on and so forth.

August 5, 2009 I haven't blogged for a few days because of good and bad things happening in rl. My countertops finally were put in, in the kitchen, but of course the guy said, please wait 24 hours before you use the sink. So I'm back to square 1 for a day. That is the good news. The bad news is that our (the human and I) pet of 30 years, Fred the Cockatiel, is in the hospital. The human is having a bad time of it and so am I. Just hanging around waiting for the doctor to call and tell us when to pick him up. (Crossing fingers) It seems that Fred has a liver problem at his old age. When the human asked the vet if he could do a liver transplant, the very kind vet didn't laugh especially when he saw the human wasn't kidding. So we now wait for the call.

Jeff came in 8th which was okay even though I had to watch the race on a Monday.

August 2, 2009 A very bad day. The race was called for rain in PA so it will be run tomorrow at 12 noon. I lost terribly to MariahBoPeep and Cory0210 at the Reflection Tourney, and Sami never showed up at the tourney. Terrible day. But... on the bright side, Cory0210 donated his Ant, Queen BooBoo III to Adn research. It is a great honor to have an ant named after me. I think...

August 1, 2009 Yippee, a new month. Qualifying for the Pocono race tomorrow was cancelled so Jeff starts in 3rd. I couldn't get tickets for the US Open final here in New York to see Roger Federer like I did last year, but I did get tickets for a day session September 2nd. I can see myself running around with my friends searching for Roger to get a picture to put on the blog.

The conflict shrine is one of the best things I ever built by my compound. I jumped online and saw there was a reflections tourney. I've never been very good at them but I am always will to try and try again. The wonderful Sefet was there to play a game with me and low and behold, after I refused to concede I actually won the game. I'll never know if Sefet just let me win because he is a blog reader (big smile and hugs to Sefet,) but the win was worth 21 silver powder in a participation prize, so it was well worth jumping over to play.
