About 13 Rock

Every Society Is Judged By How It Treats Its Least Fortunate Amongst Them. (unknown)

Who and what are we

13 Rock is a guild of friends who have completely different backgrounds but very common goals, which are mostly to pass tests and do something for the greater good of Egypt.

We do that on a small scale usually, by helping out with research when we can, on a basis of necessity. But also on regional level we help out, for example by building a Conflict Shrine in Stillwater. On top of that, we have a few long-term goals that are aiming at future tests and making it easier and more fun for every citizen in Egypt. For more information, see the Orchard Project section below.

Our guild has helped out several new players with getting a jump start in this fantastic game. On top of that, some of our members serve as moderators in Egypt-wide chat channels (B! and the trade channel Bazaar). And one of our elders is even a Demi-Pharaoh and uses his communication and mediation skills to resolve conflicts between players. Another one of our elders is involved in the Cooking research and was one of the master minds behind AND the winner of the Cooking contest held in March, 2010.

Generally, we try to keep up with the technologies as they open up, and frankly, we're doing pretty okay. Below you can see the list of equipment and other facilities that we have available to our members, and some of them are even accessible publically. We also organize digs where everyone can participate, and where the stones are always divided up equally.

If you want to know more about who we are, and what we do, please feel free to visit our guild hall and look up the elders. Feel free to /chat us anytime, or leave us a message when we're not online.

What does 13 Rock want?

We have plenty of stuff on the wish list, and we'll eventually get to build them.

A few of the major things we're working on currently, are:

  • more guilded mines (of all kinds)
  • Gyration Cell
  • a separate cp where ppl can put personal boxes and khefre's lockers
  • a bunch of pottery wheels

Orchard Project

This project is headed by our elder Orishas.

The aim of this project is to have every single kind of fruit and flavored honey available for the Test of Festivals (Bastet link here). In order to do this, we are building a large array of Indo Beehives in Stillwater. The main orchard will have 50 trees, and we have 9 additional trees in 3 groups of three in 13 rock's compound to breed specific trees that are missing or are in demand. The project is going well so far with 25 of the main orchard trees built, and having 6 out of the 8 specific trees required to open perfuming, a first step to open the test of festivals.

Once complete the fruit and honey grown at the orchard will be made available for all, so that everyone will have what they need for the test.

More information about this project will follow later.
