The kitchen is a building that allows the processing of various food products. When upgraded with an iron cookpot, it can be used to cook meals using Recipes in a kitchen.

Source

This building becomes available after you learn the cooking skill.

Cost

Upgrade: Install an Iron Cookpot

Upgrade: Install a coconut crusher. requires 50 Concrete, 5 Iron Bar, 2 Deckle, 2 Knife Blade*, 1 Stainless Steel Pot.

  • 3/7/2012 -- Engineers at the Great University of Architecture report they have mad a break through in kitchen design. Now you only need a common knife blade for a coconut crusher instead of steel blades.

Holds 1000 coconuts, automatically crushes them, and collects the water. Apparently, if you want coconut meat you have to break them by hand. Seems to crush them about 15 per minute or so.

NOTE: Do not try to load/refill the crusher while it's running. All the coconuts that you're trying to add will vanish.
