(This is version 1 of this wiki page, please modify with additional information.)

An improved version of rock saws, with a much larger capacity. It is fueled with Petroleum, (works faster?), and can be further upgraded.

Source

This building becomes available once you have learned the Steam Mechanics technology.

Cost

In addition to the base cost to construct, the Steam Rock Saw requires Petroleum as a fuel source when running. The hopper is configurable for both Cuttable Stones and Medium Stones.

Initial Construction

A non-upgraded Steam Rock Saw's hopper can hold ??? replacing the ?? Rock Saw

Upgrade and Enlarge Hopper

After upgrading the hopper, the Steam Rock Saw can hold 500 Cuttable and Medium stones, replacing ?? Rock Saw.

Further Upgrade and Enlarge Hopper

This upgrade expands the hopper to hold ???? cuttabe or medium stones at once.

Upgrade to allow Marble cutting

Use

The Steam Rock Saw can be fueled with 1000 Petroleum at a time. Takes the first Pellet when it starts.

Base production rate (Untuned and without a Springbox): (??)

  • Tuned to Level 0 with no Springbox, the saw appears to produce 1 cut items per tick and use 1 Pellet every 10 ticks. A tick being about 3 Teppy Minutes long. [Zotep]
  • Tuned to Level 1 with no Springbox, the saw appears to produce ?? cut items per tick and use ? Pellet every ? ticks. A tick being about 2 Teppy Minutes long.
  • Tuned to Level 1 with 8,9k Springbox, the saw appears to produce ?? cut items per tick and use 1 Pellets every 2 ticks. A tick being about 2 Teppy Minutes long.

Other Upgrades

Like other automated buildings, it may be tuned and upgraded with a Springbox.
