Test of the Messenger

At the beginning of an Egyptian month, a new message becomes available to be deciphered by the players of Egypt. Every player signed up for the test has access to one piece of this message (the message is split into seven fragments) and may travel to any common altar and perform a simple ritual to receive their fragment. The simple ritual is as follows:

Do this SOLO

1.Place a papyrus paper on the left focus

2.Place an ink on the right focus

3.Meditate on the altar


You can only do 1 ritual per Egyptian month

Guild with info on how and where the current ritual is located. They already located it all you have to do is show up with mats

Note: ATM it is far easier to just wait until the Visionaries guild figures it out. 7 pairs of players can do the ritual. Of course, you never learn to figure it out but you get credit just the same.

You cannot "pass the test" if you have less than 70 points even if you do win an R3 garden due to the scoring.

  • To the right of the layout is a triangular matrix showing the relationship between the various colors. Each field in the matrix can be set to a number between 0 and 100; this is the percentage chance of the color on the top row beating the color on the left column when they meet. Note that these are linked for each color pair, and no distinction is made between which color is the marker on the pyramid, and which is the token being played.
    • If green is set to beat red 75% of the time,
      then if the player plays a red token on a green marker, it will win 25% of the time.
    • The color pairs are reciprocals 50/50 75/25 100/0

This is actually a Principle and there isn't any "test" per se.
